Reporting Issues

If you encounter a bug or unexpected behavior in Lamia Studio, please report it so we can fix it.

Quick Report with System Info

Lamia Studio can automatically collect your system details to include in a bug report:

1. Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P)
2. Type "Lamia: Copy System Info for Bug Report" and select it
3. A formatted text block is copied to your clipboard containing:
   • Lamia Studio version
   • Lamia CLI version
   • Operating system and version
   • Python version
   • Configured providers
   • Active extensions
   • Workspace info
4. Paste this into your issue report

Filing an Issue

1. Go to the Lamia IDE Issues page
2. Click New Issue
3. Use a descriptive title
4. In the body, include:
   • What happened — describe the bug or unexpected behavior
   • What you expected — what should have happened instead
   • Steps to reproduce — how to trigger the issue
   • System info — paste the output from the command above
5. If relevant, include screenshots or the error message from the chat panel
